Snap, Crackle, Pop.
No, this is not a cereal commercial although that may sound
tasty. It actually concerns your
vehicle’s windshield. You hear a snap as
a pebble hits your windshield. Then, in
a short period of time, it will begin to crackle (spider). Sooner than later, it needs to be popped out
and replaced by a new one.
Is driving with a cracked windshield safe? There are a couple of really important
reasons why it needs to be replaced as soon as possible. One is, a cracked windshield is a weakened
one and it will provide less protection.
And…visibility out on the road can be severely compromised. Even if it is not now, it will be as the
crack grows.

Summer Heat takes its Toll.
Anyone who has lived in the heat and humidity of a long
Kansas City summer knows exactly what we are talking about. We are smack dab in the middle of it and your
car battery knows it. Perhaps when you
think of a dead car battery, you probably think about it being the dead of
winter. When you try to start your car
one frigid morning nothing happens.
The drain on your car battery's resources most likely will
occur during the summer's hot weather.
Simply put, your battery is more likely to fail this time of year than
in the dead of winter. The label usually
tells you how long you can expect it to last. Five to 7 years is not unusual as long as the
battery is operated under normal conditions.
